Emma found some environmental art online and created her own sketch then we turned her sketch into sweatshirts for her and her twin sister to wear proudly.    Students are in small groups playing a sorting game. They must answer the BIG question about a number of images. "Is it art?"   7th graders enjoying the nice fall weather and bonding with their classmates.    7th graders watched the documentary "Fed Up" and we discussed what is wrong with our current diets. We reflected on how the cards are stacked against being healthy and we made some personal food pyramids in order to really see what our diets consist of. May students used this time to self reflect and will be changing some of their eating habits.     The last two weeks of school students created wearable art then the 7th and 8th graders competed in a fashion show!  |
