2022-2023 WElcome back braves!
The best elective team in Accomack County!!!! We are proud to be Braves!
Dear Supporters,
We would like to thank you for supporting our Comics for Cancer program at Nandua Middle School. Your contributions and donations are greatly appreciated. We hope you are enjoying your copies. We are proud to announce, with the help of kind-hearted people like you, our grand-total for 2023 is $1,017. All of it is being forwarded to the American Cancer Society.
Besides our goal of contributing to the betterment of mankind, we wanted to give our authors and artists a realistic publishing experience, showcasing combinations of their literary, technological, and visual gifts, all while reinforcing that these are viable career options, tools, and avenues that are open to them. We witnessed great feelings of victory and accomplishment when our students were signing autographs on their comics, comparing sales charts, and realizing their texts would be enjoyed by readers across the country. We cannot thank you enough.
God Bless,
Matt Bell and Sarah Clark

Comics for cancer
march 2021
Do you know someone fighting cancer? Unfortunately, we all do, and we’ve all lost someone to this terrible disease. It’s time to fight back! Comics for Cancer is a program where our awesome Nandua Braves made real comics, and we sell them to teachers and students. We also accept donations. 100% of the funds will be donated to the American Cancer Society for cancer research. The art is amazing, the stories are wild, and our students have shared their talents with you, all to defeat the supervillain known as cancer. Art is real. Art can heal. $3 per book is a heck of a deal. Please help Mr. Bell, Mrs. Clark, and our awesome artists and authors save the planet.

secretary of education visits NMS April 25, 2018
We were very thankful Mr. Qarni had time to come to the art room and write a quote for our school rock garden! We gave him a rock to keep to remember us!
We invited the Secretary to put a quote on a rock for our community rock garden. He chose to write "We rise by lifting others." This rock is now part of our garden in the back of our school.
