Mrs. Clark's extensive collection of natural objects including a number of animal skulls gave students plenty of options when drawing from life. Using vine charcoal, charcoal pencils, and chalk they practiced looking at these objects to draw a still life.
This assignment was part of the Youth Art Month creative problem solving challenges. Students worked in groups or independently with discarded library books and found materials from the art room to create sculptures.
